Portland, Ore. – (May 28, 2009) – Steven Ribeiro, principal of Aldeia, LLC, and developer of Independence Station, was featured as the lead guest on Oregon Public Broadcasting’s Think Out Loud program today. Ribeiro discussed plans at Independence Station, which he hopes will earn the highest LEED rating ever awarded to become the World’s Greenest Building when it opens next year.

BuilderNews Magazine, the country’s largest regional trade publication, announced today Independence Station has won the “Spirit of the West Awards” , in the category of best “green mixed-use building”. Information on this award will appear in their August issue and online at http://bnmag.com.
